Synopsis

The Old Zuo, the former male director of obstetrics and gynecology department in Rui’an hospital, contributed his whole life to the beloved career. Zuo You, his son who worked in the same department as his father, didn’t like his job. He not only had continuous conflicts with his father, but also had a grudge against Qian Xiaoxiao, his father’s female graduate. The new male director called Dong Sixian welcomed new lives in his position. However, he and his wife, Qian Lei, didn’t have a baby and they ended their marriage hurriedly. As Old Zuo believed, obstetrics and gynecology department was a good place where life was born and where miracle could be made. Zuo You gradually loved the job in the process of delivering babies before time ran out. He gained the love from Qian Xiaoxiao and understood his father more. Dong Sixian still shew his concern to Qian Lei who actively sought for a new relationship and they still loved each other. Qian Lei had an unintended pregnancy, which invisibly proved that Dong Sixian had no infertility. Happily, they welcomed their daughter in the obstetrics and gynecology department. The divorced couple stayed together. The doctors of obstetrics and gynecology department developed their stories about love and responsibility, understanding and growth.
