Synopsis

Huang An’an was a Taiwan female expert. Her father, Huang Shouyi, was an old soldier of Nationalist Party Kuo Min Tang. After Taiwan’s opening-up, he followed the promise between his comrade-in-arms and him to send his cremains to Chinese mainland. The fiancee of An’an broke off their engagement because of her father’s identity. After that, An’an left Taiwan to the west coast of Taiwan Straits to apply for a TV host. Huang Xiaodong refused her owing to her feminist speech. After An’an fell in a faint because of the congenital heart disease, she was saved by Wu Mei, the superior of Xiaodong. Wu Mei was very satisfied with her proposal which Wu Mei accidentally saw. Then, Xiaodong was asked to call An’an back. Under the persuasion of Xiaodong’s assistant, they remedied their breach and gradually loved each other. When Xiaodong sent their pictures back to home, Huang Shouren, his grandfather, found that An’an’s father was his younger brother who had lost for 60 years. After An’an was downcast to come back to Taiwan with her father, she was told that she was not the biological daughter of her father. Her father was not named as Huang Shouyi. That was how matters stood. At that year, An’an was an abandoned baby and Shouyi was a member of liberation army who was trapped in Kinmen. In the end, Xiaodong and An’an married. In the wedding, Shouren held Shouyi’s hand and declared to all people, ‘He is my brother and now he is coming home.’
