Synopsis

The links and inheritance between Zhao family and tea should be a good thing which could be handed down from generation to generation, but it was changed in Zhao Fuxiang’s operation, the fourth generation successor of Zhao family. Zhao Fuxiang who was not in the state of mind to manage the tea business set a fire on his own ancestral tea garden in person. He expected to find a new life in the fierce fire.  
Tang Meilin, Zhao Fuxiang’s wife, was always gentle and earnest and put her husband first. Zhao Fuxiang ignored the spirit of making tea from his ancestors. Instead, his wife learned all about it. In the past so many years, Meilin had never complained about the bad performance of the tea garden, because she with pure and lovely characteristics was always positive about everything.
In 1991, in the day when earth flow exploded after landslide, Fuxiang was missing with no information left. After that, Meilin, her son Zhaoyu and her daughter Zao Fei lived without Zhao Fuxiang. 
As a matter of fact, Fuxiang didn’t die. He just was afraid of his responsibility and reality if he would go home because he had owed to start his life career. He went to the home of thermal springs and met a young girl, Hu Caichun, who suffered many a setbacks during her life. In order to protect herself and her mother away from her stepfather who worked for gangsters, she took two million away from Fuxiang, who pledged his tea garden to a bank to get the money. The sum of money made her and her mother leave her stepfather but never could leave Fuxiang. 
20 years witnessed naive children growing up and sensible children more mature. Zhao Yu and Zhao Fei, the pair of children of Meilin, shew it. Their father had never won the special award in the tea competition, but Zhao Yu won it in the first contest, who could be almost called as a genius tea maker. It was a gift and interest and Zhao Yu had inherent enthusiasm for tea. Therefore, when Hu Xin’er broke into his tea garden for her school report, they contacted with each other soon. Zhao Yu taught her like her teacher and looked after her like her brother. The love feeling between them developed naturally.
