Synopsis

In 1935, Fang Yuntian ended his study in Japan as soon as he got the news that his father called Fang Yulong died. After he came back to Shanghai, he was ready to take over the family business which Gao Xinyi, his father’s sworn brother, temporarily mandated to him. Then Fang Yuntian came across Shen Ruhua, and they had favorable impressions with each other while quarreling and laughing. Under the arrangement of Shen Fugui, Shen Ruhua’s father, they married, which Gao Wenxuan took a hit from. Chuandao Yunzi, Gao Yuntian’s old lover in Japan, came to Shanghai to look for him with her father. When she knew Gao Yuantian had married, she cried her heart out. Fang Yuntian and Gao Yuntian became foes to master Shanghai. Chuandao Yunzi’s father made full use of the relationship between her and Fang Yuntian to start games about spy. Finally, Fang Yuntian took Shen Ruhua to join in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression at the crisis time.
