The story took place in early 1949. A rout was like a landslide in the Nationalist Party Kuo Min Tang after three main battles ended. On the eve of Jiangcheng’s liberation, Chiang Kai-shek ordered Zhao Siran, the director of intelligence, to furtively deploy a strong spy web and scheme a fatal sabotage named as Plan A. What was worse, he delegated two trusted followers, God and Tiger, to conduct the plan seriously.
Zhong Xiaofei, our scout hero, received orders to infiltrate enemies. He got the diagram of the defense and troop distribution around Yangtze River after his arduous efforts, which played a big role in Jiangcheng’s liberation. However, cunning God saw through Zhong Xiaofei’s identity. On the eve of Jiangcheng’s liberation, Zhong Xiaofei ‘died’ bravely for keeping the enemies away.
